The cozy holiday home at Ballylee was a true gem. With a rustic fireplace, it felt like a charming cabin in the woods, offering a much-needed escape from the bustling city life. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to whip up delicious meals and create unforgettable memories together. Despite being 33 km from Galway, the private parking made it convenient for us to explore the beautiful city and its cultural offerings.

I had an incredible stay at this property. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a cozy log stove burning. The extra touches like fresh fruit, flowers, and toiletries really made me feel like I was staying in a hotel. The privacy was complete and there was no hassle at all. The spaciousness of the house was impressive, especially the large kitchen. The location was perfect, with easy access to Galway City and other destinations. The communication with the host was excellent and I would highly recommend this property to others. a fantastic experience!

This place was a hidden gem, with plenty of room and a warm welcome with a cozy log stove. Loved the extra touches like fresh fruit and flowers, and toiletries that made it feel like a hotel stay. Complete privacy was a huge plus. The location was perfect - close to town but still in the peaceful countryside. The house itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen and dining area were fantastic, and there was plenty of space in the bedrooms.
The hot water and water pressure in the showers were not great, and some of the mattresses needed replacing. One of the toilets also didn't work.

We got great value for our money at Ballylee. The room was cozy and clean, with little special touches like fresh fruit and flowers. The location was perfect, peaceful and quiet in the countryside but still just a short drive to town. The staff, especially Sylvia, our host, were incredibly welcoming and accommodating.
The breakfast selection could have been more varied.
